Sheik Ahmed Othman Al-Humaid

​Sheik Ahmed Othman Al-Humaid is Principal and Senior Managing Director of TECHNE. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of TECHNE, LLC. He represents TECHNE’s interests in Saudi Arabia and is a member of the TECHNE Management Committee.

Sk. Ahmed has over 25 years experience in architecture, development, international trading, and marketing. He is currently the President and Chief Executive officer of ROYANA Corporation headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Royana represents many large American Companies including, Sikorsksy, AMGEN, Lockheed Martin, and Trinity Offshore. He advises these companies on international development strategies and government relations. 

Prior to becoming a principal and CEO of Royana, Sk. Ahmed worked for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Defense and Aviation as a design architect and planner. Subsequently, he became a member of the Management Board of Star International Company in Riyadh were he managed the trading and construction activities of the company. 

Sk. Ahmed comes from a noted and distinguished Saudi Arabian Family. His father is the past Commanding General of the Royal Guard and Deputy Defense Minister. Sk. Ahmed advises senior Saudi government officials on matters of international trade and commerce as well as defense strategy. 

Sk. Ahmed is a graduate in Architectural Engineering of King Saud University, Riyadh Saudi Arabia. He is married with five children.
